Bush meds and rain (Al)

And a whole lot of other things that will have to be intuited/interpreted/improvised (!!??) from the piccies below.  Long story short . . . went to Ross River and N'dala Gorge area this weekend on a research trip type thing with a good friend/work colleague and some awesome Arrente women.  Did all sorts of stuff.  Got rained on.  Gathered stuff.  Cooked it (and other previously gathered stuff).  Got blown away by scents and efficacy.  Learned all sorts about people, places, bush meds and a whole bunch of intangibles.  And yes.  A good amount of the charcoaled bark that I was attempting to grind ended up on my face (Thanks J, for the ''You know about Rudolph?" heads up :) ) . . .
