Quick interim update as the 3G is on and off. Currently spending night at 'bush camp' on a station. Expecting all the caravans to come steaming in soon. Our plans are changing constantly as we try a futile attempt to avoid the masses and find some solitude. How ironic considering where we live!
Derby was completely booked out and the 24 hour road stops are packed like sardines. The dirt roads to possibly more interesting places also seem full of dust as the 4x4 trailer brigade pummel on through ( probably with noisy generators to boot).
Sorry if I come across a a bit dejected but this has just become our view at the 'bush camp'.
