Just a quick one here. After a windy night at station camp we were able to pack up nice and dry ( the tent and us) and head off in good time. I saw the station workers round up some brumbies in the morning sunrise. How I wish I had my camera.
Fitzroy Crossing. (Which I think was the day before actually) Yeah, don't bother. They obviously have a few 'local' sicial problems at the mo. Good luck to the community in sorting it all out.
The road from there to Kununurra became better and better. Yes, more windy and thinner and harder to pass the million caravans - but the views. Lovely.
Now In Kununurra. Have visited some local stuff. Caravan parks almost all booked out. We are in a room. It's huge. I have to walk to my bedside lamp. Cool!
I shaved the rest of Al's hair off as she requested. Her cornrows were halfway down her head anyway.
She looks exactly like how I've always seen her. Beautiful. Probably the reason why I wanted to marry her. Thankfully the 'braids' have been binned. They looked like some kind of wet angry pet.
Now we will smile as we get the looks as of 'odd couple' as undoubtedly we will.
Tomorrow we are packing a picnic and gonna take pictures of things around Lake Argyle, a place I remember fondly on my last visit with Al and my parents.
(lake just came up as ' cake'. Now I'm hungry. Maybe cake for our picnic?).
Speaking of which Al saw a cane toad and I saw a Round banana palm with round bananas. Al says there aren't such things so I could be mistaken.
