Right, so we have/are spending the two nights at out trailer park 'cabin'. Very cheap and here are some pics that kinda prove it really:
It has what we need though - power mainly. Engel the battery box is now fully charged so should see us through to Esperance in about three days.
The rain stopped earlier and we went back into Ceduna for a walk and collected pine cones ... as one does.
(Ive just deleted a picture of a pine cone as I reckon most people know what they are.)
They are for Piggy fuel.
So on the whole I was a little disappointed with Ceduna, even with the sun out.
There was quite a lot of rubbish around the place, masses of dog crap and things just tatty and broken. It's as if no one cares about the place. I suppose out of season and on a Sunday isn't the best time but the place seemed weirdly abandoned.
Tomorrow we head off for our longest drive yet - 700km or so to Madura Roadhouse. I have been on and off the pain meds ever since that bloke in Port Lincoln ripped part of my face out (ok ok too much exaggeration) so this little rest has been beneficial. I had an email from my sister that suggested I needed Maltesers since the Malt was good for me. (It was based on an experience she had once with a tooth extraction.) I may have misinterpreted the email and read it in a way that meant that Maltesers are now in my life but hey - I only have half a face so I reckon I can have some. She had hers cut in half for her but I've always been told I have a big mouth so I should be fine. Oh and some marshmallows have come along for company. Thanks Sis, any other advice would be much appreciated (melted cheese? Is that good for anything?).
Chopping more of Al's hair off tonight and maybe some of mine as I'm starting to feel all muppety again.
Not sure when we next have internet.
Alright - I know you want to see the picture - here you go then:
