WA border fruit quarantine we met Hitler's offspring. Talk about thinking he had all the power of someone with more serious authority - a totally depressing man.
The cop we met a few minutes later was much more charming (for an old guy) and I quite happily did a breathalyser test. He asked if I had done a drugs test before. I said no. I was looking forward to this. Turns out it's just a scrape of the tongue ( mine - not his).
The Nullarbor is quite impressive although there are more trees than I had imagined.
I saw over ten dead wombats today. As for Roos - well don't drive this road if you are squemish. Look here's s pic of a long straight road.

We listened to Prince the whole way. His purpleness certainly funked up the drive.
